The D-type layout separates the furnace and convection heating surfaces to provide a compact heat-transfer structure and facilitate inspection and maintenance.
Welded membrane walls form the furnace enclosure, reducing heat loss through the furnace wall.
The boiler can be configured for natural gas and other compatible gaseous fuels according to local fuel specifications, burner requirements and emission regulations.

How the Water Tube Gas Steam Boiler Works

 

Feedwater enters the boiler circulation system and is heated through water-cooled furnace walls and other heating surfaces. Gas combustion generates high-temperature flue gas, which transfers heat to the water/steam circuits through the furnace and convection heating surfaces.
As water absorbs heat, steam is generated and separated before being supplied to the process system. Depending on the required steam condition, the boiler can be configured with appropriate steam heating or superheating equipment.
The D-type arrangement integrates the furnace, convection heating surfaces and steam-water system into a compact boiler structure.
