Heavy fuel oil presents distinct operational hurdles compared to standard diesel or natural gas. Our SZS series integrates specific engineering controls to guarantee stable atomization and prevent common HFO issues:
1. Viscosity & Temperature Control
Dual-Stage Fuel Preheating System: Maintains oil temperature between 110°C–130°C before atomization to ensure optimal viscosity (<20 cSt).
Steam/Electric Hybrid Heating: Utilizes boiler self-generated steam during normal operation and electric auxiliary heating during cold starts.
2. Anti-Coking & Nozzle Maintenance
Air/Steam Atomization Burners: Ensures complete combustion of heavy hydrocarbon fractions, reducing carbon soot buildup by up to 35%.
Automatic Nozzle Purging System: Automatically flushes burner nozzles with compressed air or light diesel prior to shutdown, preventing clogging caused by residual oil cooling inside the nozzle.
3. Low-Temperature Corrosion Protection
Variable Low-Temperature Corrosion Prevention: Acid dew-point monitoring integrated with an adjustable feed-water temperature control loop (maintaining water inlet >105°C) to extend economizer lifespan when burning high-sulfur heavy oil.
